About
Hawaiian & Pacific Islander is a club at GOHS open to all students that would like to learn more about Hawaiian & Pacific Islander culture. Our club is shares the Aloha spirit and Our club takes pride in learning Hula, Mele and Haka. Our performance group, Ohana Nani Nui, provides Hula and Haka lessons for all students that attend practice. We are a cultural club that informs students about the importance in carrying on and representing Hawaiian & Pacific Islander cultures along with legacies. Teaching a Polynesian culture not only through information but dance as well creates a safe and open community that allows individuals to express themselves, while representing the roots of beautiful cultures.
