About

Compassion in Action is a service-based club dedicated to spreading kindness throughout the community. We make tie blankets for hospitals, animal shelters, homeless shelters, and senior living homes to bring comfort to those in need. Since making blankets can get expensive, we also focus on other meaningful ways to give back—such as visiting dog shelters to spend time with the animals, bringing toys or blankets, and showing them love, or visiting senior living homes to talk with residents, do arts and crafts, paint nails, and share activities they enjoy. Any leftover funds from our fundraisers are donated to support local causes and organizations.
